"Assaults by evil unicorns! A giant squid! A vampire usher! When mom and dad go out for a date night, anything might happen. Deliciously playful!" — Judith Viorst, best-selling author of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Soren's meaningful look at a leaf that is very happy with its life—until it watches a bird learn to fly, and a caterpillar turn into a butterfly—and becomes consumed with worry that perhaps it was supposed to learn to fly, or become a butterfly…

Soren's meaningful look at a leaf that is very happy with its life—until it watches a bird learn to fly, and a caterpillar turn into a butterfly—and becomes consumed with worry that perhaps it was supposed to learn to fly, or become a butterfly. A story, in other words, about the fears we all make up for ourselves, and learning who we were meant to be. A book for both kids AND their adults.

"Uplifting… An important book. It tells the children, and the children who are hiding in adults’s bodies, that we don’t have to do what others are doing." -Worn Corners

Authors Goodman and Kisiel, a husband-and-wife team, run a comedy troupe, and it shows!
